Most couples schedule their wedding event a few days after their arrival in Exumas Bahamas. This allows for ample time to get your necessary legal documents such as your marriage license. You can apply for your license once you’ve been in the Bahamas for 24 hours, and you can apply at the Administrator’s Office located on the island you’ve chosen for your venue. It normally takes two days to receive your license.
