Great Exuma and its stretch of Cays, just an hour flight from Miami, are the favorite escape of savvy tropical travelers for its pristine beaches, technicolor crystal clear waters, and extraordinary nature. Ideally located on beautiful Emerald Bay, Grand Isle Resort & Residences is your gateway to exploring this island paradise. If you love the water and adventure, or just crave a quiet stretch of sunny beach, there is no other place quite like it. Exuma is home to two extensive national parks.

Welcome to Paradise

The Exuma Cays Land and Sea National Park is an ecological preserve and wildlife refuge. The Moriah Harbour Cay National Park is home to a variety of birds and its mangroves help protect marine life. Exuma vacations are ideal year-round as gentle winds help maintain a balmy and warm tropical climate. Summer temperatures range between 80—90 degrees, and winters are mild with temperatures rarely dropping below 78 degrees.

  • Chat-N-Chill Beach
  • Chat ‘N’ Chill® was born in 1998 as a day camp for people who lived on their boats in Elizabeth Harbour. Somewhere they could go for great food, volleyball, a chilled-out atmosphere and even Sunday church without needing a car or a taxi.

Not much has changed since then except our reputation – we are humbled by our visitors who have helped catapult us to 'world famous' status! Salt-encrusted travelers from all over the world chill with the locals here over beers and conch salad. Visitors shop for gifts at our Chat ‘N’ Chill® Beach Boutique. Couples from all over the world fall in love all over again renewing their vows.

We’re proud to say that Chat ‘N’ Chill® was – and still is - the quintessential laid-back, bare-feet beach bar for real beach bums. Come chill with us!
